Never before has a date in history been so significant to so many cultures, so many religions, scientists, and governments. 2012 is an epic adventure about a global cataclysm that brings an end to the world and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivors. Los Angeles experiences a major earthquake that crushed the earth, the Yellowstone Supervolcano erupts, Las Vegas is destroyed by a massive chasm that cuts through the city, more massive earthquakes occur in South America (one of which destroys the city of Rio de Janeiro). Washington, D.C. is flooded by an enormous tsunami which crushes the White House, and The Vatican in Rome crumbles into oblivion, destroying thousand-year old Catholic architecture and killing thousands of worshipers within seconds. As worldwide floodings get worse, the U.S. government declares the end of the world. A group of survivors must fight their way to China before they can board the great arks and save themselves from the gigantic tidal waves flooding the Earth.

After Bella recovers from the vampire attack that almost claimed her life, she looks to celebrate her birthday with Edward and his family. However, a minor accident during the festivities results in Bella's blood being shed, a sight that proves too intense for the Cullens, who decide to leave the town of Forks, Washington for Bella and Edward's sake. Initially heartbroken, Bella finds a form of comfort in reckless living, as well as an even-closer friendship with Jacob Black. Danger in different forms awaits.

After a long distance relationship, Charlie (Gonzaga) gets the surprise of her life with a visit from the US-based Prince (Sam Milby), who proposes marriage. This prompts the excitement of Charlie's mother, Sunshine (delas Alas), who is also expecting her own church wedding, a promise given to her by husband Dindo (Estrada) for their 25th wedding anniversary. But Dindo vehemently disapproves both weddings to take place, so Charlie and the ever-supportive Sunshine help Prince win the acceptance of Dindo. Prince then finds himself in the midst of the Dindo's problem of eviction in the jeepney terminal he works in. Getting Dindo's approval is not the only issue this young. The wedding preparations are not going smoothly, as fueled by the arrival of Prince's nouveau riche mother, Janet (Dionesia Pacquiao), who wants things done her way. Charlie and Prince are unable to relate to each other's families and worlds, and Charlie becomes more confused when she re lizes that marrying Prince would mean leaving the comfort of the life she is accustomed to and leaving her tight-knit family for an unfamiliar life with Prince. In the height of the preparations, Sunshine notices that Dindo is focusing more on the terminal than the wedding, forcing them to be at odds with each other. As the wedding draws nearer and chaos ensues between the families, everything goes on a downhill spiral. With things out of her hands, will Sunshine ever be able to see her dream wedding come to life? Will Dindo be able to save his fellow jeepney drivers from being evicted? Will Charlie and Prince be able to work out their differences amidst all the chaos for their fairytale romance to have a happy ending?
